The Association of British Professional Conference Organisers (ABPCO) has confirmed six new members of its executive board at its AGM this week.
According to ABPCO, the new board members represent event expertise from across the industry, they are:
- Madalina Marincas, Opening Doors and Venues
- Katie Bolton, MCI UK
- Sarvjit Wunsch, Association of Upper Gastrointestinal Surgery
- Sammy Connell, NASUWT, The Teachers’ Union
- Sarah Vaughan, The Chartered Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys
- Kate Sargent, Bioscientifica Ltd
Heather Lishman, association director, ABPCO, said: “As these dedicated individuals join ABPCO’s executive board, the association looks ahead to another successful year, driven by the passion of our members. We look forward to capitalising on past achievements and embracing new opportunities for growth, innovation, and professional development.”
The AGM also included the opening for entries of the 2023 ABPCO Excellence Awards, as well as the announcement of several leaving board members.
