Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC) has a new Interactive Map that provides a panoramic view of all of the main meeting rooms, exhibition and banqueting rooms as well as the AECC Arena in photographic 3D.
Following on from last year’s website re-development, the AECC say this new tool will help event planners, meeting organisers and those attending events at the centre find their way around. The Map allows visitors to see the space before booking in order to decide whether the room fits with their needs.
If organisers are unable to visit the venue before the event date, whether due to time constraints or client’s location, the new feature can offer a chance to check the chosen location fits requirements. It can also serve as a refresher after a site visit.
“We are committed to giving our clients peace of mind, and the introduction of this new facility is a quick and easy means to refresh the memory following a site visit,” says AECC Managing Director, Brian Horsburgh. “The booker can ’virtually’ visit us and get a feel of the room before committing to a booking. We see this as a useful add-on service as a reminder following face-to-face meetings with our clients.”
