Historic Royal Palaces and IMG are to host a 3,000-strong audience for each show at this year’s Hampton Court Palace Festival. The festival runs 5-23 June and features a world-class line-up of artists.
Lionel Richie will kick off the festival at Hampton Court Palace, followed by performances from Paloma Faith. Jools Holland and his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra, The Beach Boys, Gary Barlow and Tom Jones will also perform.
The superstar line-up will all be taking to the stage in Henry VIII’s historic courtyard.
The festival will conclude with Fanfare & Fireworks with the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra.
While several shows are already sold out for general admission, a variety of exclusive dining and corporate entertainment options are available for each show. These include after-hours access to the Palace’s State Apartments for a champagne reception and a dinner fit for a King, before guests make their way to the open air auditorium for the evening’s performances.
Liz Young, head of events at Historic Royal Palaces, said: “We are excited to once again be hosting such world-renowned artists as part of our Hampton Court Palace Festival this year, with one of the best line-ups we have seen to date. The festival is always a stand-out occasion and this year promises to be no different, with our magnificent Tudor Palace providing a striking, and atmospheric backdrop to the celebrations.
“All proceeds from events held at the palaces help to ensure they are well maintained, accessible and open for everyone to enjoy, so all those attending the festival will be contributing to the continued upkeep of Hampton Court Palace – alongside enjoying world-class entertainment.”
Stephen Flint Wood, Managing Director of Arts & Entertainment, IMG added: “We are delighted to announce this remarkable line-up of artists for this summer’s Hampton Court Palace Festival. Watching some of the world’s greatest musicians in the idyllic setting of the Base Court of Hampton Court Palace is the perfect way to spend a summer’s evening.”
