15Hatfields will be pledging £1 to the Marine Conservation Society, for every new contact made at International Confex 2024.
Exhibiting as part of the Delegate Wranglers stand (C34C), the sustainable events venue based on London’s Southbank has opted to support the Marine Conservation Society as part of its continued extensive efforts to reduce its impact on the environment. It builds upon 15Hatfields’ work successfully eradicating single-use plastic since 2019 as well as its wider work aligning to the UN Sustainable Goals.
Over the two days of the event at London’s ExCeL 28-29 February, a donation will be made for every contact scanned at the show by the 15Hatfields team.
Warren Campbell, general manager, 15Hatfields said: “We’re always conscious of trying to reduce our environmental impact, so rather than provide an unwanted giveaway that could ultimately end up in landfill, we were keen to put our efforts to positive effect. The Marine Conservation Society is a fantastic environmental charity doing some excellent work towards a cleaner, better protected ocean that we can all enjoy.”
He added: “We’re looking forward to catching up with our industry peers and meeting new contacts at International Confex later this month. We’ll be sharing news about our exciting new sustainable developments including our recent Greengage Positive Impact title that was awarded last month in recognition of our relentless determination to champion change in the events sector, including our work to eradicate palm oil.”
