The home of The British Academy for humanities and social sciences, 10-11 Carlton House Terrace, has launched three brand-new, double-height event spaces in its transformed venue on 5 November.
Following a £9.6m development project, supported by £5m from the Wolfson Foundation, the Grade I listed building’s lower ground floor has been re-purposed as event spaces.
The venue’s in-house partner, Searcys provided the catering with floral displays by InWater Flowers.
With the removal of barriers between entrances creating open sightlines, the event featured a welcome from Catherine Owen, entertainment by Blank Canvas Entertainment, and photography by Greg Allen and Aniseed Photo.
Prudence Jaguelin, Searcy’s general manager at 10-11 Carlton House Terrace said: “Searcy’s are thrilled to support 10-11 Carlton House Terrace on this exciting launch and look forward to continuing our partnership and enhancing our offerings here as well.”
