London’s 10-11 Carlton House Terrace, home of the British Academy, hosted a spy-themed launch party where guests were given the chance to drive away in Bond’s £85,000 V8 Vantage Aston Martin.
The event celebrated 10- 11 Carlton House Terrace’s tie-up with caterer, Searcys, which has been appointed to run the venue’s catering.
10-11 Carlton House Terrace, which overlooks The Mall and Horse Guards Parade, has become a popular filming destination for spy genre films and TV dramas, having regularly appeared in popular British spy drama ‘Spooks’ and due to make its cameo in the next Bond film Skyfall.
Invited guests were able to experience the best of the spy genre with flowing martinis, roulette wheels and the once-in-a-lifetime chance to drive home in Bond’s V8 Vantage Aston Martin. Sky Movies also showcased all the best Bond car chases in the venue’s auditorium to celebrate its new dedicated 007 channel which launched 5 October.
