1 Wimpole Street has won the award for the ‘Most Innovative and Tech-Friendly Venue’.
On 9 November, director Nigel Collett and AV manager Kevin McLoughlin both attended the Event Technology Awards at Supernova, a temporary event venue in Embankment Gardens.
The awards are now in their fourth year and considered to be one of most recognised events for event technology. Venues, agencies, and tech brands are recognised for pushing the boundaries in innovative event technology.
Collet said of the win: “This award is fantastic recognition for 1 Wimpole Street as it proves we have been successful in our aim to keep at the forefront of event technology and its continuously evolving advancements. A significant factor in winning this award is not just the innovative technology but the highly skilled team of AV Technicians; and it is primarily our people that make 1WS a ‘tech-friendly’ venue for event professionals and meeting delegates.”
