Tim Peake’s Soyuz Capsule arrives on time at National Railway Museum

The National Railway Museum in York welcomed 75 guests to the first exclusive dinner and private view of Tim Peake’s world-famous Soyuz Capsule, which arrived at the museum the day before and will be displayed in the Great Hall for the next two months as part of a landmark partnership between Samsung and The Science Museum Group. The museum treated key clients including representatives from Visit York, Mosaic Events, Nestle, Inntel, NYS, Press Association and Banks Sadler to the Space Descent VR virtual reality experience narrated by Tim Peake, in which guests were put in the pilot’s seat of Tim Peake’s spacecraft to experience his truly incredible 250-mile journey back to earth from the International Space Station.
