Kensington Palace, one of six venues cared for by independent charity Historic Royal Palaces, welcomed 90 luxury event planners and high-end brands on 21 September for an evening of deliciously different entertaining.

Hosted in collaboration with one of Kensington Palace’s approved catering suppliers, Rhubarb, guests from companies including The Prince’s Trust, BAFTA, Disney, Lillingston, and Banana Split, enjoyed a drinks reception on the western Orangery Lawn, which featured a luxury stretch marquee provided by 10×15.

Rhubarb provided a standing food station-style course to start, with guests able to choose from dishes including Mackerel tartare with samphire and gin compressed cucumber, and Miso glazed lobster, with a sriracha crème fraiche dipping sauce.

Guests were then led into the Orangery, where they were treated to a two-course supper of Beef, Roscoff Onion, Carrot and Ash and a Blood Orange, Yuzu and Lime dessert.

Following dinner, guests moved outside to the eastern Orangery Lawn where a new marquee, a tipi-style tent, had been set up for them to enjoy a selection of after-dinner cocktails.
