NFS Technology Group joined forces with londonlaunch to put on a breakfast briefing on the theme of digital transformation and client engagement in the meetings and hospitality sector.

Church House London was the host venue for the event and an invited audience heard from speakers including: Kevin Doorley from Harman, Sanj Naha, a former head of sales and marketing at TripAdvisor and CN columnist and industry trainer Richard John.

NFS briefed the audience on its booking portal and Rendezvous technology, while Doorley spoke about the challenges involved in providing AV and lighting services at the highest level, including to The Sheikh Zayed mosque in Abu Dhabi and numerous large stadia and hotels around the world.

MD and moderator Luis De Souza said he was delighted at the enthusiastic response from the audience at the briefing, and thanked the speakers for “useful and thought-provoking presentations”.

“With the meeting venue operators at an earlier stage of digital technical adoption when compared to, say, the hotel operator, our event was particularly well timed to provoke this important debate,” De Souza said.

“The meeting venues industry is really waking up to the benefits of the latest technology…Our event provoked lively debate and some excellent feedback from attendees, and we hope to work with londonlaunch on further useful seminars – there’s a huge appetite from venue operators for information in this area.”
