UK Connect details its experience at Red Bull’s MK-7 conference space.
As the UK’s provider of communications solutions to the construction industry,
UK Connect invited some of the country’s housebuilders to an event at Oracle Red Bull Racing’s conference and event space, ‘MK-7’, at the world championship-winning team’s Technology Campus in Milton Keynes.
UK Connect wanted to demonstrate how housebuilders can drive digital progress and accelerate their business with UK Connect’s products and services. The MK-7 facility was the desired choice, as quality and credibility are important values for the event.
The logistics
The one-day event was set in MK-7’s largest, 450-capacity space. Due to the contemporary theme that tells the story of Oracle Red Bull Racing’s history, the space did not need many adjustments. However, for this event, a Scalextric track and exhibition stand were brought in as part of the brand’s bespoke content.
UK Connect welcomed its exclusive guest list with breakfast pastries and a selection of teas and coffee. Three presentation sessions were held in MK-7’s main space and afforded the UK Connect team the backdrop of Oracle Red Bull Racing’s array of F1 cars.
For lunch, the venue worked with onsite caterers, BaxterStorey, to offer a contemporary grazing menu that included fresh locally sourced options that catered for a range of tastes and dietary needs.
Adding exclusive, engaging elements to a conference is a must at the site, and UK Connect took full advantage of its surroundings by inviting guests to complete a tour of the Technology Campus. Guests were greeted by the team’s display of trophies as they entered reception before enjoying a guided tour through each department of the F1 team, learning about its successful history.
