Why did you choose Leeds Beckett University to study BA Event Management?
I researched into the course nationwide and saw that UKCEM at Leeds was the instigator of events studies.
Why did you choose BA Event Management in particular?
A year before starting university I thought about gaining experience and learning on the job. Then I noticed that gaining the key knowledge from experienced lecturers is vital.
What modules are you most excited about studying this year?
The event planning and management module, as I feel it will give me a more hands on approach with possible real life scenarios.
What are your career aspirations? Which company would you most like to work for when you graduate?
To work with a big sporting tournament and to bring one to the UK.
Have you been to any events in particular that have influenced your degree choice?
T in the Park 2015 reaffirmed my decision because of the queuing that occurred for customers.
What are you most looking forward to about your degree as a whole?
I am most looking forward to my year in industry.
Where do you see yourself in five years time?
I can see myself being absolutely anywhere, the industry can take you everywhere.
