Central Hall Venues manages venues which are primarily Methodist Halls. Their flagship venue, Central Hall Westminster, has been operating as a premier London conference and events venue since 1999.
Central Hall Venues currently manages venues in London, Edinburgh and York. The organisation’s aims for a transparent approach to business and upholds principles of ethics, integrity and sustainability, inspired by its close ties to Methodism. CHV caters for all events from conferences and meetings to concerts and performances.
About Central Hall Westminster
Central Hall Westminster operates within the Methodist Central Hall Westminster. This unique Edwardian building is situated opposite Westminster Abbey. The venue has many striking architectural features including a sweeping Grand staircase, the design of which is based on the Paris Opera House.
With a capacity of over 2,000 and 25 flexible event spaces, the venue combines historical elegance with cutting-edge technical capabilities. It has hosted memorable and high-profile events since 1912. CHW has played host to many world-class events over the years including James Cordon’s Late Late show and the BBC New Year’s Concerts.
About Nicolson Square Edinburgh
Nicolson Square Edinburgh (NSE) is situated in the centre of the historic Scottish capital city of Edinburgh. NSE has over five flexible event spaces capable of holding events of all kinds for up to 250 people. The venue is housed within the City of Edinburgh Methodist Church, a category A listed building located in the heart of the city.
The rooms can be tailored for individual set-up requirements and contain AV facilities. The Great Hall has played host to many cultural and notable events inducing Fringe Festival 2021.
About St Saviourgate York (SSY)
St Saviourgate York sits within the ancient walls of York and is surrounded by 2000 years of history. The venue is the Central Methodist Church which dates to 1840 and is today a Grade II* listed building. Designed by architect James Simpson, who was tasked with creating a building that would provide a meeting and community space for up to 1500 people and mark the centenary of Methodism. Today St Saviourgate has five flexible event spaces capable of holding events for up to 400 people.
