Following on from One Great George Street’s Wendy Greenhalgh blog ’Does BNC Global Event deserve to Retweet’, Conference News asks for an exhibitor’s opinion.

As an exhibitor we found the Buyers Network Club to be an excellent event, and this seemed to be the view shared by those I spoke to over the two days. Admittedly day two was quieter than the first day, however the number of quality contacts made during the show certainly exceeded expectations.

The other refreshing aspect was that the BNC delivered a show that had the feel of an event, with a constant flow of food and a level of customer service from the various staff and hostesses that is so often lacking at other trade shows. So is this the way forward?

Well yes, it is certainly one way, we are after all in the event industry so why shouldn’t we be creating an atmosphere that better represents what we do? Could this concept be taken further, most definitely. While I congratulate both the BNC and The Brewery and all the other suppliers involved, the truth is they have only scratched the suce of possibilities, and I look forward to more events that take up the challenge to be creative.
