Some of the UK’s event bookers toured two meeting and event spaces in London’s West End recently in a ‘Rise & Shine’ themed event.
Approximately 100 bookers and their guests first visited 28 Portland Place for breakfast before taking a short ride on a Route Master for brunch at The In & Out.
Starting at 28 Portland Place bookers toured the 1775 Georgian town house designed by famous architects the Adam Brothers. With the emphasis on indulgent health, the Ampersand culinary team prepared exotic smoothies featuring beetroot, pomegranate and spinach; served a breakfast trifle comprising yoghurt panna cotta, blueberry jelly and seed granola; and finished with savoury muffins.
Afterwards the Grade II listed house that is home to exclusive private members’ club, The In & Out, showed off its new glass canopy to bookers. Ampersand’s chef gave a masterclass in carving with hand-carved roast Nolk gammon benedict and smoked salmon royale followed by a new take on Breakfast Canapés; and an ingenious cereal milkshake.
