Employee and customer engagement solutions provider Grass Roots has appointed Michael Basel (pictured) as Sales Director for strategic meetings management in its Germany Meetings & Events division.
Basel joins Grass Roots on 1 October and will be based at Grass Roots’ Düsseldorf office. Working with David Taylor, Sales Director for The Grass Roots Group, he will be responsible for establishing a dedicated strategic meetings management arm in Germany.
Basel was most recently Head of Programme Management for CWT Meetings & Events Central Europe.
David Taylor says: “We are seeing significant demand for our strategic meetings management expertise in Germany and across Europe. Creating a SMM devoted area will enable us to focus on delivering first-class solutions for our clients – new and existing – and will be a great addition to many of the highly regarded solutions we’re already providing.”
