Mint Events appoints Bastock as Commercial Director

Cheshire-based event management agency, Mint Events, has appointed John Bastock as Commercial Director.
 
Bastock joins Mint Events from the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group where he focused on MICE sales across the pharmaceutical, food and retail sectors. He has 12 years’ industry experience working in events roles on both agency and client side, with Expotel (now Capita Travel & Events) and Co-operative Food. He has worked with a varied list of clients including Arcadia Group, Virgin Trains, Astellas Pharma, Porsche GB and Apple UK.
 
“John’s wealth of events industry experience within both event project management and business development roles meant he was the ideal choice to achieve Mint’s ambitious growth targets,” said Mint MD Fiona Byrne.
 
Founded in 2004 Mint is active in particular in the associations market and the chemical industry.
