CHS Group, organisers of the annual Conference and Hospitality Show, held 8 April in Leeds, have hailed the fifth edition a resounding success, claiming it grew again in size.

The show, which took place in The Centenary Pavilion, was attended by 650 meetings industry professionals, according to CHS.

Show Directors, Emma Cartmell and Sue Beverley increased the VIP programme this year and said over 100 exhibitors had attended, including international hotel brands Hilton, Radisson Blu and De Vere.

“This year we attracted more destination exhibitors, including Visit York4Meetings, Destination Bristol and Staffordshire Conference Bureau. We are beginning to have a national reputation for delivering quality events and we are delighted with that,” said Cartmell.

The show provided 12 seminars across three stages, an interactive demo zone with live cookery demonstrations by top chefs, a shoot out with Sandstone Sheriff School and entertainment from La La Piano Bar (previously part of Jonathan Ross’s house band 4 Poofs and A Piano.)
