St Petersburg’s new Exprum Convention and Exhibition Centre (ECEC) and Exprum International in Russia have launched a new brand image with a supersize ‘E’ symbolising the architectural layout of the ECEC.
Exprum is now 70 per cent complete and scheduled to open officially on 7 October 2014, concurrently with the opening of the St Petersburg International Gas Forum.
Management tells CN it has around 100 guaranteed events booked in at the new venue, many of which are simply moving across from the old Lenexpo site, now part of the same Gazprom owned group.
Exprum is in the bidding process for World Energy Congress in 2019 and World Gas Congress in 2021 and reports discussions with organisers of smaller conferences and events under way.
