In
times of austerity, events have seen reduced budgets and an increasing
need to demonstrate ROI. A clear brief will ensure the right event
experience is created for you and your attendees, plus it will help
drive the best value for your budget and make sure you deliver results.
Here’s our guidance on what a good brief should include:

Strategy

Why is your event happening, what are your objectives, who is your audience and how will you measure success?

Message

What message should your attendees take away from your event and how should they think, feel and act as a result of attending?

Delivery

What
considerations, such as budget, planning time, and preferred event date
and location, need to be built into the event design and why? What
flexibility is there for other ideas?
