Leeds-based event management agency, Wellpleased Events, has added two new additions to its team.
Simon Spikin (pictured) is replacing Alex Simpson as Operations Director and Lucy Fitzpatrick has joined as Event Manager following a successful industry placement.
Spikin joins from Peppermint Bars & Events where he has spent the last five years, following extensive experience in hospitality, catering and event management.
“Working for Wellpleased gives me the opportunity to work on entire events from start to finish; and hopefully I can bring some large-scale project experience to the team, ready for some of the exciting sporting event clients we’re announcing in the New Year,” said Spikin.
Fitzpatrick has already managed private clients for events for Wellpleased in Leeds and London and is currently completing a degree in Live Event Production with LS Live’s Backstage Academy in conjunction with Bolton University.
“Lucy brings technical stage production, AV and lighting knowledge, which is often rare in an Event Manager, and we’re excited to have her on the team,” said Owner of Wellpleased Events, Sam Welpy. “Simon has a great record of successful project management, which will ensure that all of our clients get a first rate service in what is shaping up to be a busy 2014.”
