A new 20-room meeting and events space has been launched at the Priestman Building. It is located on the City Campus and will be run by the University’s conference and events arm Unispace Sunderland.
The facility, which is currently the university’s arts, design and media building, offers 18 multi-purpose meeting rooms for up to 120 delegates, a 97-capacity theatre and 200sqm of exhibition space across three areas of the building. The Priestman Building also features an art gallery.
“We are happy to to be able to strengthen our city centre offering with the addition of the Priestman Building to our portfolio,” says Commercial Services Manager at UniSpace Sunderland, Sharon Olver. “The building has benefitted from a redevelopment, producing the new flexible spaces that feature up to date AV and IT equipment that our clients have come to expect from UniSpace.”
The Priestman Building is the fifth self-contained venue at City Campus and the 14th location in the UniSpace Sunderland offering.
