Universal WorldEvents’ Louise Goalen joins HBAA Events Committee

The Head of Travel and Venue Finding at event management agency Universal WorldEvents, Louise Goalen, has joined the Hotel Booking Agents Association’s (HBAA) Events Committee.
 
The committee is responsible for organising the association’s events including the Annual Forum, Annual Dinner, CEO Dinner and HBAA Golf Classic. The HBAA maintains a full schedule of training, meeting and networking events throughout the year.
 
Following the HBAA’s Annual Dinner in February, Goalen will also take over from Jill Fleming of Absolute Corporate Events as Chair of the Events Committee. As Chair, she will also have a seat on the Executive Committee.
 
“I hope to use my position in the industry to help raise the HBAA’s profile,” says Goalen. “We want to allow agencies to develop stronger strategic partnerships with our venue suppliers through the HBAA’s calendar of events in order to work cohesively across the board.”
