Leicestershire-based supplier of AV presentations, The Presentation Group, has invested £500k in new premises in Loughborough.
The business has 10 full-time staff providing services such as event management, lighting, sound, AV production, exhibition stands and set and stage designs for business events, with a particular specialism in the pharmaceutical sector.
Managing Director and company owner Dominic Robertson said the new site had a footprint of around 930sqm and would allow the group to run its operations more effectively.
Robertson is forecasting a turnover of £1.5m for the year to next July, up from £1.2m in the last financial year.
“We are looking at further growth, having doubled turnover in the last eight years,” he added. “We are in the process of talking to two big pharmaceutical companies which will require us to take on more people. This year we are predicting 60 per cent of our work in the UK and 40 per cent in Europe.
“We have just delivered an event in Rome and are about to deliver one in Austria. The European pharmaceuticals find they have fewer language barriers working with teams from the UK and I believe the teams we work with have can-do attitudes.”
