York-based event management company Mosaic Events has celebrated its 10th anniversary by buying Jorvik Events on 21 October for an undisclosed sum as well as announcing four new business wins and a doubling of turnover in the last 12 months.
Mosaic specialises in event, membership management and income generation for the association and commercial sectors.
The business wins are from the Historical Association, the National Association for Safety and Health in Care Services, Osiris Educational and the National Association for the Teaching of English.
Mosaic will be responsible for delivering both event management and income generation services to all clients whose events are forecast to attract 1,000 delegates overall.
Jorvik Events was established by Stewart Moss in 2006, and Mosaic will take over the management of sizeable contracts from in the crime reduction, education and employment association sectors. Moss is going to be taking a new senior role in hotel general management.
“Mosaic has been fortunate to have won repeat business from several clients leading to a jump in turnover, as well as the opportunity to take on contracts built up by Stewart,” says Director of Mosaic Events, Sarah Byrne (pictured). “Jorvik’s association-heavy client base makes it an excellent fit with Mosaic’s growth strategy.”
Mosaic works on over 150 events annually.
