Venue-finding service Conference Cambridge has launched Keep It In Cambridge, a new initiative designed to encourage Cambridgeshire businesses and organisations to ’think local’ when choosing venues for events.
The campaign highlights the benefits of choosing a Cambridge venue, including the compact, accessible nature of the city, as well as the unique activities on offer such as walking tours of the city, tours of the colleges, or punting on the River Cam.
As part of the initiative, a team from Conference Cambridge will be touring businesses in the region, visiting conference and event organisers to thank existing clients and offer support and information for new ones.
“Keep It In Cambridge is a call to everyone in the area, whether you’re a business, organisation or event organiser, to work together and focus on staying local for meetings and events rather than searching further afield,” said Manager at Conference Cambridge, Kelly Vickers. “We want to demonstrate the vast range of meeting facilities here in Cambridge, from historic academic venues to contemporary spaces, as well as hotels and other unique properties in and around the city.
“As part of Keep It In Cambridge, all the venues in our portfolio will be offering a range of incentives and special offers to anyone booking a meeting in Cambridge through us,” she adds.
