Bernadette Gilligan has joined Hilton London Wembley as General Manager, following the retirement of Jack Nicholas.
Gilligan has 31 years of hospitality experience and 20 years’ experience working within Hilton Worldwide. Prior to joining Hilton London Wembley Gilligan worked as GM across a number of UK Hilton Hotels and Resorts properties including Hilton Manchester Deansgate and Hilton York. Most recently she was GM at Hilton London Kensington.
“I’m thrilled to be appointed GM of Hilton London Wembley, in one of London’s most iconic locations,” says Gilligan. “With last year’s Olympic and Paralympic Games and the opening of Wembley’s London Designer Outlet later this year, Wembley’s popularity as both a leisure and business destination continues to grow.”
Jack Nicholas, previous GM at Hilton London Wembley, has retired after 40 years service in the hospitality industry, with the last 11 years spent at Hilton Worldwide. Nicholas played an integral role in the creation of Hilton London Wembley and championed the development of a new upscale, full service hotel for 10 years prior to the hotel opening.
Hilton London Wembley offers 10 meeting rooms as well as a business centre and boardroom, 660-capacity ballroom and ninth floor bar with outdoor terrace, Sky Bar 9.
