Marco at Stamford Bridge hosted the launch of Head Chef Roger Pizey’s new book, World’s Best Cakes, on 23 September. Over 60 guests travelled to the restaurant to sample some dishes from the soon-to-be-launched new menu as well as cakes and sweet treats from the book, which contains over 250 recipes and tips. Pizey served profiteroles, polenta and mandarin cake and Devil’s Food Cake to guests, including Willie Harcourt-Cooze from Channel 4’s Willie’s Wonky Chocolate Factory, and chocolatier Paul A Young.
