UK event organisers should be happy with the recent increase in event app companies opening up offices in the UK. The latest move is by European mobile event app company, TapCrowd, which has set up a UK office to “better serve its existing customers and attract new customers”.
TapCrowd says that due to continued success in the UK marketplace providing event apps for iPhones, iPads, Android Smart phones and tablets, it has decided to make the move.
The StadiumBusiness Summit in Manchester used an event app created on the TapCrowd platform and 84 per cent of the attendees used the app. The average number of app interactions was 17 per attendee.
“TapCrowd has proven that it can deliver mobile event apps for both small focused events and large exhibitions with thousands of attendees and I look forward to helping organisations achieve their mobile marketing strategies,” says UK Sales Manager, Malcolm Etchells.
TapCrowd started in 2009 in Ghent, Belgium and has grown to have offices in Turkey, Brazil, USA and now the UK.
Quickmobile and Cvent have both recently launched offices in the UK.
