Worcestershire-based Farncombe Conference Centre, on the Farncombe Estate near Broadway in The Cotswolds, is to host a TweetUp for event professionals on Wednesday 14 August from 4-6pm.
The event is aimed at event industry professionals who use social media in their work and would like to get the most from platforms including Twitter and LinkedIn. It is open to people new to social media and keen to find out more, as much as seasoned users seeking tips on the latest trends and the ’secrets of success’ using Twitter and LinkedIn.
Social media specialists Michael de Groot, a LinkedIn sales solutions partner, and Jonathan Pollinger of Intranet, will be on hand to offer advice, tips and share good practice.
Farncombe’s TweetUp is free to attend and can be booked at Eventbrite at http://midlandeventprofstweetup.eventbrite.co.uk.
Canapés will be served at the newly-refurbished Dormy House Hotel, on the estate, to those taking part. It will be a chance for industry professionals to network and to see the early results of the £10m investment programme being made at the Dormy following its re-opening on 2 August.
Farncombe Conference Centre was launched in 2001 as the Cotswold Conference Centre.
