Leeds-based Weetwood Hall Conference Centre and Hotel has been awarded the ‘Green’ status by the independent healthcare meetings consultancy Compliant Venues.

The award was for demonstrating their investment in training and the relevance of the conference centres facilities to meetings and events for the healthcare sector.

This year the team at Weetwood Hall put forward team members to take part in a healthcare training course, addressing relevant regulatory codes and company policies and ensuring there are onsite healthcare champions.

The awarding body, Compliant Venues, works with healthcare organisations to provide them with venues that meet the specific criteria deemed appropriate for a meeting.

Weetwood Hall is the only conference centre and hotel in Leeds that has been awarded the ‘Green’ status, which is the highest ranking. Each venue is assessed on six different areas to determine their status; these include: sales and marketing, location, fit for purpose, facilities, service and cost.
