Event organisers and booking agents are being invited to apply to attend a late summer party and showcase held at two Essex venues on 3 September. The event will include presentations and a chance to meet representatives from 20 Essex venues.
Visit Essex for Business’s summer event will begin with a light networking brunch, presentations and a show-round at the Holiday Inn Hotel near to Southend airport, while the afternoon will be spent at the newly named Royal Pavilion at the end of Southend Pier – 1.3 miles out at sea.
Delegates will be able to park, and then ride via Cooks courtesy coach from the Holiday Inn to the Pier, and then take the pier train to the Royal Pavilion for a buffet lunch consisting of Essex produce, including Tiptree preserves and Rossi’s famous local ice cream. Local jazz band The Gershwin Gang will provide the music.
