Merlin Events London, the events arm of attractions operator Merlin Entertainments, is to host a master class on networking for event industry professionals titled ‘Notworking Networking’ on 10 July at Madame Tussauds London, from 6.30-7.30pm.
The one-hour event will include a drinks reception and a 30-minute interactive session led by coaching and networking guru Suzy Dunn, the Managing Partner of Innervision Training.
Business networking is an effective low-cost method of making new contacts; building sales and connecting with like-minded people, says Merlin Events London, adding that the workshop aims to explore this with tips and skills to work the room like a pro and organise the best networking events in town.
In related news, after winning an Oscar and being awarded an MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list, singer and songwriter, Adele, was honoured with Madame Tussauds wax figures in both London and Amsterdam.
Media arrived, 3 July, to see the figure back lit in a perfect silhouette before the singer’s likeness was slowly revealed as her anthem Some One Like You was permed on a piano, before being showered in silver glitter. Dressed in a glamorous black dress, mirroring her 2012 Grammys permance look, the figure is styled to perfection with Adele’s trademark black eyeliner and flowing locks carefully coiffured.
