Butlin’s welcomed 70 local businesses to its Bognor Regis resort, 1 May, to provide business insight previously sought by John Lewis and Waitrose ahead of the peak summer season. Butlin’s teamed up with the Arun Business Partnership for the event, which shared ideas and knowledge on how to provide the best customer service from the Butlin’s ‘Navigators’, who are largely credited for the company coming in 4th as the Sunday Times Best Large company to work for.

Delegates were able to enjoy a champagne breakfast whilst networking, before the workshop itself began. The event coincided with the £180,000 refit to the resort’s conference centre, a move to attract events and conferences from both within the UK and abroad, in turn bringing a larger portion of the business tourism economy – worth £22 billion in the UK, into the West Sussex area.
