Chessington World of Adventures Resort launched its multi-million pound attraction ‘ZUFARI: Ride into ica!’ with a VIP preview on Friday 15 March. Over 220 guests attended the launch including event organisers, corporate clients and celebrities including Katy Hill, Alison Hammond, Karen Hardy, Jade Ellis and Nicola McClean joined by their partners and children.
The family friendly launch saw Madagascar characters Alex the lion, King Julien XIII and Gloria the hippopotamus entertain and pose for pictures with guests in the sri-themed Holiday Inn-London Chessington lobby area. Animal keepers from the Zoo also introduced meerkats, Amazon parrots and snakes to inquisitive guests allowing them to handle the wildlife whilst answering questions.
After experiencing ‘ZUFARI: Ride into ica!’ it was back to the hotel for a hot drink or two, before heading to the luxury-sri-tent-themed Serengeti Suite for dinner.
