VisitYork4Meetings, the business tourism arm of Visit York, says 21 of York’s best corporate venues, including the National Railway Museum, Novotel York Centre and York racecourse will be attending the ’York Minster to Westminster’ event in London on 13 March 2013.
The venues will meet over 70 conference buyers from Europe, London and the South East at hosted receptions at the Houses of Parliament and the new five-star Intercontinental Westminster Hotel.
The event represents an opportunity to showcase the city’s business tourism face-to-face with individuals who have direct conference and event purchasing power.

Confirmed delegates include senior event organisers from a cross-section of organisations including blue chip companies, high profile charities and societies. A selection of senior international organisers will also attend thanks to a partnership with Visit England.
The York Minister to Westminster showcase is a key part of Visit York’s business tourism strategy, which in partnership with Visit England will also see a number of other international business tourism marketing opportunities. Activity includes further development of the Conference Ambassador Programme, a series of dedicated sales days and a programme of national and international exhibitions promoting York for business.
