Events supplier Melville GES CEO Nick Marshall becomes the new Event Supplier and Services Association (ESSA) Chair from 1 January 2013 to replace the outgoing John Robson.
The Aztec MD handed over the reins at the last ESSA board meeting of 2012 on 13 December.
“I am delighted to be taking over as chair from John,” said Marshall. “Working together with the ESSA director Chris Skeith and the team, he has helped to create a strong, robust and well respected association.
“The ESSA brand has become a badge of quality that helps members to sell their services, it is something of which we can all be proud. We have built close working relationships with our colleagues in the organiser and venue community, and the cross association working groups have been a major success.”
