Holywell Park, Imago’s conference and exhibition centre based at Loughborough University, has launched a new set of packages designed to appeal to the Asian wedding market.

The Holywell Park team has worked closely with local company Eventologists, to offer room dressing right down to the smallest detail, including the use of a tablet based fire pit.

A dedicated coordinator is included in the new package at the venue which can accommodate up to 400 guests. The venue can also easily meet specific requirements such as the need for defined male and female areas.

Dave Craven, Manager at Holywell Park, said: “Many venues that are large enough to host an Asian wedding can feel cold or corporate. This is why we’ve gone a step further and put the skills and knowledge in place that help us to create weddings with an individual look and feel.”

Rohina Abba was one of the first to take advantage of the new package when her daughter got married earlier this year. “Holywell Park is an excellent venue for Asian marriages; both halls are very spacious and a lot of what we required for the wedding was provided,” she said. “For Muslim weddings it’s nice to have two rooms because very often the ladies are segregated from the men. Imago also let us bring in our own lighting and decorate the bridge which made it very special.”
