Event management company MCI Dublin has secured a five-year partnership with the European Paediatric Surgeons Association (EUPSA), running from 2014-19.
The partnership will involve MCO organising the EUPSA annual congress and satellite meetings, while also aiding the creation of long-term strategies to grow the association.
“We are delighted to join in partnership with MCI Dublin,” said President of EUPSA, Professor Jean Michel Guys. “They share our goals for the association and have the tools and experience to make it happen. We needed an organisation that could think strategically with us and help the EUPSA Board achieve its vision.”
Jean Evans, European Director of Association Relations at MCI Group, added: “We always aim to align our approach with the client goals and working with EUPSA promises to be an exciting time. We are positive we can, in close collaboration with EUPSA, drive the association and its meetings forward and ultimately share and apply best practice in the field.”
The 14th EUPSA Congress will be held in Leipzig, Germany, from 5 to 8 June, 2013, and is expected to attract 700 delegates. In 2014 the Congress will take place in Ireland in the Convention Centre Dublin on 18-21 June. It will be the first time a EUPSA Congress will have taken place in the country.
EUPSA aims to maintain and promote the highest clinical standards for paediatric and adolescent patients in all European countries.
