The Orchard Hotel, the latest property to join the De Vere Venues portfolio, held its official launch party 22 November. Guests were treated to a night of British hospitality, inspired by the Bramley apple, in celebration of the orchard that surrounds the hotel and East Midlands Conference Centre.
The £20m eco-hotel, adjacent to the East Midlands Conference Centre also managed by De Vere Venues, hosted the evening attended by 220 guests including clients from Deloitte and the Royal College of Surgeons. Some guests travelled to the venue on a specially chartered De Vere Venues VIP train and took part in a James Bond themed Murder Mystery, courtesy of BlueHat Events.
Entertainment on the evening included The Graffiti Classics, who provided a unique musical backdrop with their eclectic take on the classical string quartet, while The Deceptionist left guests mind-boggled with a mix of mind reading and magic tricks.
