As the winter chills approach the newly-reopened Nolk Showground Arena has installed 10 new heaters as part of its £1.4m facelift.
Venues owners, the Royal Nolk Agricultural Association, wanted to replace an ineffective and costly heating system so the venue would be suitable for concerts and other events.
Supplier of gas-fired warm air heating and ventilation systems, Reznor supplied the UDSA043 V3 room sealed warm air units, cutting maintenance costs in half and reducing running costs 30 per cent.
The 3,000sqm arena outside Norwich was originally built to house animals at the Royal Nolk Show but in recent years has been hosting consumer and business events. Poor heating had hindered the arena’s ability to broaden its event bookings base.
Reznor’s Ron Hughes said the systems were “room-sealed needing no additional combustion-air ventilation and there are now 10 independent zones of comfort rather than the previous one”.
