Buckinghamshire-based venue Lane End Conference Centre (LECC) has seen an increase in demand from conference and events organisers who are looking for venues that can provide exclusive use of a dedicated kitchen.

LECC now has several clients who host events housed in the Pavilion, one of five self-contained buildings with its own dedicated kitchen and space for up to 150 delegates.

“The most recent example is of the national food distributor, 3663, who required exclusive use of our Pavilion conference venue in which they prepared and introduced new food concepts to their marketing department,” says Sales and Marketing Manager Heni Fourie. “A small team of the client’s own chefs prepared the food concepts in the Pavilion’s private kitchen which were then presented at individual exhibition stands in the main room.

“Food related teambuilding activities are becoming increasingly popular and the self-contained nature of the Pavilion with its own dedicated kitchen facilities makes it ideal for a range of teambuilding events, including chocolate making classes, gourmet cooking, sushi-making or any food-based challenges,” adds Fourie.
