Ernest Vincent, OBE, has announced his intention to stand down from the position of Chief Executive of The Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre (QEIICC) on 31 March 31 2013.
The Centre, owned by the Department for Communities and Local Government and operated by one of its arm’s length bodies, is an executive agency and government trading fund which has been managing the Centre since 1997.
Ernest Vincent joined The QEIICC in 2003, and will leave after a 35-year career in the meetings, exhibition and events industry.
“I’ve very much enjoyed these past 10 years leading the hugely talented team at The Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre, a venue that continues to be widely sought after by meeting planners, many returning year after year,” Vincent said.
