Robinson College in Cambridge has been awarded the Silver Accredited In Meetings (AIM) Accreditation from the Meetings Industry Association (MIA), and has set up a programme to ’Go For Gold’ next time.

The college scored highly across key areas of the operation, including legal compliance related to health and safety, food hygiene and disability discrimination, in addition to facilities and customer service.

The MIA accreditation team described Robinson staff as “trained, dedicated and highly motivated”, and were impressed by the introduction of a ’12 Part Service Level Guarantee’, which aims to ensure customer service surpasses expectations.

This year’s score of 91.3 per cent for Robinson showed an improvement from three years ago when it was 86.7 per cent.

“Achieving a Silver Accreditation is a great accolade and a team award,” says Catering and Conference Manager at Robinson, Nick Milne. “Not only is it excellent news that we have retained our Silver but we have also improved on our previous score. This has resulted in putting an action plan in place to increase our rating and ’Go For Gold’ within the next two years.”
