A new restaurant, event and meeting space in London’s Knightsbridge is set to open next week.

Buddha-Bar London will be bringing oriental flair to London’s events scene with its menu of Pan Asian dishes, music and Asian-themed interior. When launched, it will offer organisers a private dinning room for events for up to 60 delegates.

The owners had run a London Buddha-Bar-branded restaurant several years ago by Victoria Embankment but the venue went into administration in 2010 following a ’very difficult trading environment’.

The restaurant will have a soft launch 26-30 October 2012 with its official launch marked for 1 November.

Descending from the iconic restaurant-bar-lounge Buddha-Bar Paris, established in 1996, Buddha-Bar London is spearheaded by co-founder Tarja Visan.

“Buddha-Bar is universal, and each destination is unique in its own right,” says Visan. “With our new London space, we have ensured the concept is flexible to the British lifestyle, yet still attractive to the restaurant’s eclectic audience.”

The Executive Head Chef has created dishes specific to Buddha-Bar London such as Venison Tataki, Smoked Duck and Foie Gras Gyoza, Dragon Scallop and pan-fried Seabass with Shiso Butter.

“Restaurants are like fashion, we must adapt to our new generation’s demands while continuing to cater for the loyal customers’ needs,” she adds.
