The home of BAFTA, 195 Piccadilly, will be available for exclusive private hire for periods of up to four weeks in August 2013.
Traditionally, 195 Piccadilly closes its doors to BAFTA members during the month of August, but for the first time this year, the building was taken over by UPS, Official Supporter of the London 2012 and Paralympic Games, on an exclusive hire basis and served as its own Olympic hospitality venue in Central London for the duration of the Games.
195 Piccadilly provided formal dining, cocktail bars and lounge areas while the venue’s David Lean Room was transformed into a Customer Experiential zone for UPS to showcase its long association with the Games.
Following positive feedback from UPS and its clients, BAFTA decided that 195 Piccadilly will be available to hire over the summer period, during which time clients can create their own showcase venue for key customers.
“The flexibility of space combined with its central west end location, makes BAFTA’s headquarters a unique blank canvas for clients to make their own branded space for showcase events and exhibitions,” says Head of Commercial Events at 195 Piccadilly, Jenny Bones.
Also new for 2013 and available for an exclusive number of dates will be the opportunity to host drinks receptions in the adjacent St James’s Garden, overlooking Jermyn Street.
