If you want to get your conference off to a quick start why not hold it at a motorsport venue?

Located between London and Birmingham, The Silverstone Wing, situated in the heart of the Grand Prix Circuit, can host up to 3,500 people.

The track side setting includes three linked halls, plus a conference suite which on racedays is used as the official Formula One media centre. Pit garages can be used for additional space.

Donington Park in Leicestershire, home to the world’s largest collection of Formula One cars, recently opened its Senna Fangio Corporate Suite.

Situated in the Donington Grand Prix Collection Museum, the suite can host up to 100 people with an adjacent catering room and access to an independent entrance.

For golf fanatics The Belfry boasts three courses including the Brabazon Course, home to the Ryder Cup on four occasions.

With 22 function rooms for up to 400 people, the venue also has 325 rooms on site.

For football fans, the Midlands has a range of stadiums fully equipped to hold conferences.

Wolves FC’s Molineux stadium is about to complete phase one of its redevelopment. The Stan Cullis Stand will open in July 2012 with a new conferencing and match day hospitality suite, WV1. WV1 is a pitch facing facility that can host up to 500 people.

The stadium currently offers 23 pitch facing suites for up to 400 delegates, and over 45,000 delegates pass through Molineux’s doors annually.

Villa Park can host up to 700 delegates, with 95 executive boxes and recently scooped seven awards at the Stadium Experience awards, including gold standards for chef team of the year,
and green sustainability.

Coventry City’s Ricoh Arena can host up to 6,000 in its multi-purpose complex, which includes a 650-seater auditorium.  

In 2013 the De Vere hotel  will increase the number of bedrooms from 80 to 117.

If you want to host your meeting at a rugby venue, Worcester Warriors’ Sixways Stadium is host to Aviva Premiership rugby union games, but can also hold up to 1,000 delegates in 60 suites across 65 acres.  The rugby club also has 49 executive boxes with views across the pitch.
