Edinburgh’s Freemasons’ Hall signs up Sodexo Prestige as caterer

Caterer Sodexo Prestige in Scotland has won its tender to provide conferencing and banqueting facilities for Freemasons’ Hall in Edinburgh.
 
Under the three-year contract, which is worth a six-figure sum, Sodexo Prestige will also promote and sell the events venue, which is situated on George Street, Edinburgh.
 
The complex consists of two halls, a grand committee room, a museum and library, and the other committee rooms, all of which can all be hired out. The grand hall can host dinners for 240 delegates and receptions for 400. Drinks receptions for up to 500 people can be held using various rooms.
 
“We are delighted to have won this contract for one of Edinburgh’s most unique, though under-used, conferencing and events venues,” said Sodexo Prestige in Scotland Regional Director, Austin Tilsley. “This is an exciting opportunity to work with the client to develop the venue and put it on the map as one of Edinburgh’s leading events sites.”
