The Founder of creative agency The Tailor of Shoreditch and blogger for Conference News, Ian Irving, has left the company due to a family illness.

He had founded the company in 2011 after leaving the event management agency Sledge, where he was Director, and had since worked with companies such as Benefit, Fred Perry and Wagamama.

After a lot of soul searching Ian Irving has decided to step away from the Tailor of Shoreditch due to a family illness,” said Jonathan Emmins, the Director of Louder!, the parent company of The Tailor of Shoreditch. Obviously we all feel for Ian. ’Irv’ had an first amazing 18 months driving the business forward, but understandably any start up business takes an enormous amount of time and energy.

“With his current situation currently Ian does not feel that he can give the agency the focus that it needs at present. The door has been left firmly open?,” he added in a statement.
