Midlands-based Heritage Motor Centre has added an Art Deco cinema to its event portfolio.

Added to the venue’s 24 event spaces, the cinema can be used for smaller events after 5pm, including presentations or private screenings as part of meetings, events or dinners held within the Heritage Motor Centre. The cinema, which by day is part of the museum experience for leisure guests, includes 35 vintage seats, LCD projector, DVD player and a raised stage all in 30s period décor.

Located within the museum, those using the cinema will be able to combine it with drinks receptions and dinners or as part of a conference or exhibition within the 760sqm indoor space.

To accompany events in the Art Deco cinema, which is available for immediate hire, the centre has developed flavoured popcorn and is able to provide tubs of locally-produced Churchfield ice creams.

“We hope delegates will find the cinema complements our existing offering by adding a unique space for welcome speeches, company show reels or distinctive presentations,” says Managing Director of the Heritage Motor Centre, Julie Tew.

The Heritage Motor Centre in Gaydon, Warwickshire claims to be the home to the largest collection of historic British vehicles in the world. The museum houses over 180 cars which span the classic, vintage and veteran eras and includes iconic cars such as the Austin 100 HP, Land Rover No1, Morris Minor No1, the first and last Mini, MG old No1, the Thunderbirds Fab1 car and the Jaguar 2000 Formula 1 car.

The venue offers 760sqm indoor exhibition space and conference rooms for up to 600 delegates across 24 rooms and is available for exclusive use for up to 5,000 delegates.
